History
kl hi-tech began its operations in 1986 on a modest note and started  printing security forms and confidential documents for Government treasuries, banks, election commissions, educational institutions, boards and universities across India.

Reserve Bank of India and Indian Banks’ Association has empanelled the company as a security printer for printing high value security instruments like cheques and demand drafts. kl hi-tech meets all the security obligations enunciated by the Reserve Bank of India /    Indian Banks Association.

kl hi-tech has grown at a blazing pace to earn a place of pride as one of the leading security printing press in India and operate on a global level.

kl hi-tech is driven by technical innovation that seeks new ways to address its client’s changing needs. The company has a commendable track record in printing and handling different types of security and confidential jobs which are classified as highly sensitive in nature to the entire satisfaction of a large customer base spread across the India and abroad. kl hi-tech caters to the large volume printing requirements of both public and private sector banks, telecom companies, election commissions by providing them end to end solutions like designing and printing of pre printed forms, printing of variable data on them, stuffing the forms in the envelope and mailing them to the subscribers, printing various types of security documents, ballot papers and other confidential documents. The company has earned quite a lot of laurels for its efficient handling and well-timed delivery of goods to different parts of the world.

Quality Standards
kl hi-tech aims at determining the needs and expectations of its customers and offers quality products in time.
In order to achieve this objective, we have been implementing the processes and practices as per the quality standards established under ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, since 1986.

The quality standards are being developed to upgrade the existing quality management system to ISO 9001:2008 certified by AIB Vincotte Indian International Pvt. Ltd. with effect from 1st November, 2010.

Security and Reliability
At kl hi-tech, Security and Secrecy are the watchwords. We strongly believe that security starts at the workplace. Stringent measures have been implemented in our plants to protect the customers’ interests and we guarantee seamless security. The entire security system is controlled by internationaly reknowned security agency at all levels. Surveillance cameras are fixed at all the sensitive & strategic locations in and around the manufacturing facilities while the footage is being stored for 180 days.

Access to the staff and visitors is permitted through a dual level system by using access control and biometric equipment.

kl hi-tech maintains the highest Quality, Safety and Security standards. We have back up plans for business continuity in case of contingencies.

Environmental Policy
kl hi-tech propagates and practices sustainable environment policy.

The factory surroundings have a number of shade giving trees which help in keeping the atmospheric temperature low, thereby minimizing the use of air conditioners and artificial means of controlling the atmosphere which has resulted in reduced consumption of electricity.

The company procures the raw materials such as Paper, Inks, Chemicals and Packaging materials from the companies that stringently follow the green policies with respect to conserving the environment.

All the unavoidable print waste generated during the production process is shredded into small pieces and converted into pulp using the in house equipment.

Included in our comprehensive services are data creation, conversion into hard copies, and transmission to electronic media and to the customer’s IT systems, physical storage of hard copies, retrieval of data for use on electronic media, and processes of tracking and reporting inventory movements.
